The challenge is therefore multifaceted.  <\/p>\n\n<p>ESA needs a <strong>data platform <\/strong>capable of: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Connecting to <strong>numerous heterogeneous data sources <\/strong>and correlating them, <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensuring <strong>quality, traceability, and security throughout the data lifecycle,<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Delivering <strong>real-time<\/strong> data, <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And maintaining <strong>full sovereignty <\/strong>in an<strong> on-premise <\/strong>environment. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>ESA\u2019s Data Factory also aims to <strong>empower business users<\/strong> within a controlled framework. Self-service is a top priority, and AI plays a key role in enabling real-time analytics, provided it is secure and <strong>aligned with the organization\u2019s language and context<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:18px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Shared Vision with Suadeo<\/h2>\n\n<p>To achieve this vision, ESA chose <strong>Suadeo Self Data Services\u00ae<\/strong>, a French data platform covering <strong>the entire data lifecycle<\/strong>. It integrates <strong>on-premise<\/strong> <strong>AI assistants specialized in data management<\/strong>, designed to understand the organization\u2019s<strong> specific data landscape and processes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>ESA\u2019s Data Factory commitments found a natural match with Suadeo\u2019s approach: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Promote <strong>self-service data use<\/strong>, with an intuitive interface, a <strong>unified experience<\/strong> for technical and business users, and <strong>collaborative governance<\/strong> via a Data Mesh structure, all powered by <strong>on-premise AI assistants<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support evolving business needs through a <strong>Kubernetes-based architecture<\/strong>, ensuring scalability and resilience across projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Build a <strong>data-driven model <\/strong>founded on <strong>security<\/strong>, <strong>sovereignty<\/strong>, and <strong>autonomy<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p><em>The ESA brings together 23 Member States, 2 Associate Members, and 5 cooperating countries. For over 50 years, it has coordinated major European space missions, pooled human, technical, and financial resources, and supported a competitive, sustainable European space industry.
