This strategic collaboration was highlighted by Decideo and illustrates the growing challenges surrounding sovereignty, governance, and autonomy in data operations. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:18px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Data Factory to centralize and unlock the value of Data<\/h2>\n\n<p>The European Space Agency (ESA) manages hundreds of terabytes of data, covering both operational missions and support functions. To better govern and leverage this data estate, the ESA created its <strong>Data Factory, a strategic initiative designed to modernize real-time data-driven management.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:18px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Its role is to provide both internal and external teams with immediate and reliable access to consolidated data, ensuring consistency and a <em>single source of truth<\/em>, while enabling the creation of high-impact use cases.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<div style=\"height:18px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>One of the Data Factory\u2019s major challenges was ensuring <strong>end-to-end governance<\/strong> of <strong>sensitive data originating from numerous heterogeneous sources <\/strong>and dependent on specific decision-makers across the organization.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Real-time processing <\/strong>represented another major challenge: the objective was to rely on dashboards and reports updated in real time in order to optimize decision-making. This means that <strong>every data visualization must refresh within just a few seconds.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<p>These two key challenges led the ESA\u2019s Data Factory to <strong>choose Suadeo as its data platform across the entire internal operational and functional scope<\/strong>. This includes business management data and strategic KPIs, cross-functional data, HR, logistics, IT, and automated data flows with partners and suppliers.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:18px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sovereignty, Security, Self-Service, and Real-Time Analytics: Suadeo\u2019s strengths for ESA<\/h2>\n\n<p>In a context where the data handled by the ESA is particularly sensitive, <strong>technological sovereignty<\/strong> is a critical issue.
