Autonomy and responsiveness: the power of Self Data Analytics

In an interview with Les Affiches Parisiennes, our CEO Azzeddine Bendjebbour discussed the evolution of Suadeo’s data platform and the role of AI in transforming data usage across organizations.

This post includes excerpts from the article published by Les Affiches Parisiennes.

Since 2004, Suadeo has been transforming how organizations use data. Azzeddine Bendjebbour explains how his platform, pioneering in data mesh, provides autonomy and responsiveness to users, from everyday operations to large-scale events like the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games.
With AI embedded at every stage, Suadeo secures, enhances, and makes data accessible, empowering business users to decide and act with confidence and speed

We created Suadeo around two simple ideas: giving business users greater autonomy and ensuring responsiveness in data use.

Designed to put usage at the center, Suadeo’s data platform covers the entire data lifecycle, from source connection to visualization. It ensures traceability, security, and collaboration, while allowing users to freely explore, analyze, and share their data.

“The value of data is revealed through ownership. The same indicator, shown to two people in the same role, may be interpreted differently. We must give them that freedom, without multiplying dashboards unnecessarily. That’s precisely the role of our platform: to provide autonomy and responsiveness.

Within every module and at every stage, Suadeo’s AI acts as an intelligent assistant supporting the user.

We have integrated multiple specialized ‘agents’, each focusing on a specific task. One AI acts as a conductor, distributing requests, calling on the business agent when needed, the data agent for transformations, and so on.”

Depending on their role in the data lifecycle, Suadeo’s AIs generate code or pipelines, document data, build dashboards, and assist with analysis. But as Azzeddine Bendjebbour emphasizes :

“AI is like the best assistant sitting next to the user. Taken in isolation, it’s useless. “

AI doesn’t replace humans. It augments their analytical and decision-making capabilities, helping them detect weak signals instantly.

Deployed by the French Ministry of the Interior, Suadeo enabled more than 2 000 users (police officers, firefighters, gendarmes, etc.) to collaborate in real time during the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Everything was centralized (transport, energy, traffic, cameras…) Teams worked in real time in a highly collaborative way.

This large-scale project demonstrates Suadeo’s ability to handle billions of heterogeneous data records while maintaining high levels of security and data sovereignty.

The platform is hosted on the State cloud and meets the most stringent security requirements, having been audited and certified for handling restricted dissemination classified data.

Suadeo also enables no-code configuration. When asked how to manage the Olympic Games, no one had done it before. We worked collaboratively, around a table, projecting the platform, testing scenarios live, configuring quickly, like Lego bricks. We tried, adjusted, and soon had operational systems for analysis, control, visualization, and anticipation.

Beyond technology, what truly distinguishes Suadeo in the big data landscape is its collaborative dimension: empowering every stakeholder, from executives to field agents, to co-build around reliable, shared data assets and act better, in real time.
